Cat the climber
Jumps high from element to element, taps links, naps on headings and pictures, and stalks your cursor before it pounces.
Favourite food: fish
A Chrome extension
A cat, a dog and a parrot move into your browser. They hop onto links, nap on headings, carry notes from your friends, and tap you on the shoulder before your next meeting.
🔒 Chrome will say Petiction can “read and change data on websites”. That’s how pets walk on pages, and nothing you read leaves your browser. Why it’s safe
📱 Petiction is a Chrome extension for computers. We’ll email you the link so it’s waiting at your desk.
👀 Psst, the pets on this page are real. Stroke one with your cursor.
How it works
Keep scrolling and watch Mochi settle in.
One click to sign in. Your first pet, Mochi, is free and arrives with 5 welcome treats. No forms, no passwords.
Links, buttons, headings and pictures become platforms. The cat climbs and taps links so they wiggle, the dog sniffs them and reads the words aloud, and the parrot perches and repeats what it reads.
Stroke a pet with your cursor for hearts and purrs. Click to say hi, double-click for a trick, drag to carry and fling to throw. Drop a ball and the dog plays fetch.
Open the castle in the corner, pick fish, a bone or seeds, and click anywhere to drop it. Every pet has a favourite food, and you get free treats every single day.
Hungry or lonely pets walk up with puppy eyes and ask for a snack. It never blocks the page: “Not now” is always one click away. Ignore them too often and they sulk until a treat makes it right.
Add friends by email or username and send a short note. Your pet walks onto their screen, on whatever page they’re reading, and says it out loud.
Every treat earns XP. Pets level up, you unlock badges, keep your daily streak alive and dress them in hats, bows and crowns.
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook. A few minutes before each call, your pet walks over with the meeting name and a Join button, on whatever page you’re reading.

Favourite food: fish
Follows your cursor everywhere, sniffs links and reads their words out loud, and is completely obsessed with the ball.
Favourite food: bone
Flies across the page, perches on headings (or on the other pets’ heads) and repeats words it finds on the page.

Pets live in a sealed layer that can’t change or break the page. The dog and parrot read link and heading text right in your browser, and it never leaves your device. Your account stores your pets, treats and friends. If you connect a calendar, we get read-only access and keep just the next 2 days of meeting times, call links and (only if you allow it) titles. Disconnect and it’s deleted. Switch pets off for any site, or hide them anytime with Alt + Shift + P.
FAQ
Yes. The Free plan gives you a pet, 3 treats a day, daily streaks, badges and a note to a friend each day, with no time limit. Pro and Lifetime add up to 6 pets, parrots, every coat, more treats and notes, and reminders from all your calendars.
Chrome shows that warning for every extension that draws on web pages, from password managers to dark-mode tools. Petiction needs it so pets can appear on any site you open and use its links and headings as platforms. Everything happens inside your browser: page text, forms and passwords are never sent anywhere, and we don’t track which sites you visit. The only site information we keep is the list of sites you choose to hide pets on. Prefer tighter limits? In Chrome’s extension settings you can switch Petiction to run only on sites you pick.
Not yet. Chrome on phones doesn’t support extensions, so Petiction works on desktop Chrome (Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS). Tap “Send me the link” and we’ll email it to you to open on your computer.
No. Pets run in their own sealed layer that lets clicks pass through, so the page works exactly as before. They rest when the tab is in the background.
Yes. Switch pets off for any site from the toolbar popup or your account page, hide the castle button, change pet size, or press Alt + Shift + P to hide them on the current page.
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook from your account page. A few minutes before each meeting your pet walks over with its name and a Join button. If your pets are hidden or Chrome isn’t in front, you get a normal notification instead. Reminders are free on every plan.
It can read it, never change it. We store only the next 2 days of meetings with a start time: when they start and end, the call link, and the title if you allow it. Attendees, notes and attachments are never stored. Disconnect any time and it’s all deleted.
Add a friend by email or username. Once they accept, write up to 10 words and your pet walks onto their screen, on whatever page they have open, and says it. Each note plays once.
Pets get hungry and lonely over a few hours. They come and ask for a treat, and if you ignore them a few times they sulk. One treat and a pet, and all is forgiven.
Yes. Stats are shared across every tab, and signing in with Google keeps your pets, treats, streak and settings in sync. You can also sign in on this website to manage your profile, pet settings and calendars on a full page.
