Terms of Service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Rextertech ("we", "us") for using the Petiction Chrome extension, website and account (together, "Petiction"). By installing Petiction or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Petiction.
1. Who can use Petiction
You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they must make any purchase. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for what happens in your Petiction account.
2. Your pets and account
Free accounts get a starter pet and a daily allowance of free treats. Paid plans and purchases add more pets, coats, treats or other perks, as described on the pricing page when you buy. We may change free features, pet behaviour and in-app items to keep Petiction fun and fair. We won't take away something you've paid for while it's still active.
3. Treats, plans and premium pets
- Treats and cosmetics are virtual items with no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and they stay in your Petiction account.
- Monthly and yearly plans are paid upfront for that period and don't renew automatically. When the period ends your account returns to the free plan unless you buy again. Your pets aren't deleted, but the free plan's limits apply again.
- Lifetime plans and premium pets (such as the Minion) are a one-time payment and last as long as Petiction is offered and your account exists.
- Prices are shown in your currency before you pay and include any taxes we have to collect. Payments are handled by Razorpay. Its terms also apply to the payment.
4. Refunds
Because digital items are delivered immediately, purchases are generally final. We will refund you if:
- you were charged but didn't receive what you bought, and we can't fix it;
- you were charged more than once for the same order; or
- you ask within 7 days of buying a plan or premium pet and haven't used most of its benefit.
Email info@rextertech.com with your order details. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 business days. Treats you've already spent can't be refunded. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer protection law.
5. Friends and notes
You can add friends by username and send their pets short notes. Don't send anything abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, spam, or that breaks the law or someone else's rights. You're responsible for what you send. We may remove notes and suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Things you can't do
- Cheat, for example by editing storage, using scripts or exploiting bugs to get free treats, plans or items.
- Copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute Petiction, its artwork or its code, except as the law allows.
- Interfere with or overload our servers, or try to get into other people's accounts.
- Use Petiction to break any law.
If you do, we may suspend or close your account, and may cancel items obtained that way without a refund.
7. Calendar reminders and focus mode
Meeting reminders and focus breaks are a friendly extra, not a guarantee. They can be late or missed, for example if your computer is asleep, your calendar can't be reached or the browser is closed. Don't rely on Petiction for anything important.
8. Ownership
Petiction, its pets, artwork, sounds and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Petiction under these terms. The feedback and ideas you send us can be used freely to improve Petiction.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Petiction at any time by uninstalling it, and ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut down Petiction, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any active paid plan.
11. Disclaimers
Petiction is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or work on every website. Pets draw on top of web pages and may occasionally cover something. Press Alt+Shift+P or turn pets off for that site.
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the extension or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Petiction afterwards, the new terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
